Tina was born in Hawaii and spent parts of her childhood in Indiana and Florida. Before making Southwest Florida her permanent home in 1984, she lived in Chicago, where she attended college and built a successful career as a Court Reporter.
With over 30 years of experience as a Certified Court Reporter (nationally and in Florida), Tina founded and operated Dicharia & Associates Court Reporting, Inc., a highly successful agency for more than 20 years. She continues to maintain her certifications and provides court reporting services to select clients. Her training and background ensure that Tina’s attention to detail is second to none.
Tina is also deeply involved in her community, having served on the Board of Directors for organizations like the P.O.L.O. Club of Lee County, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, YMCA, and United Way Capital Campaign and Allocations Team. She currently serves on the Board of the Bobby Nichols Fiddlesticks Charity Foundation and is the President-Elect of the Sanibel and Captiva Islands Realtors Association (SCIAR).
Tina is married to Gus Simmons, Esq., a local attorney and Realtor. Together, thy form a dynamic real estate partnership. Tina’s pride and joy is her daughter, who currently resides in Denver working for the Colorado Rapids soccer team. Like her daughter, Tina is athletic and her hobbies include tennis, snow skiing, hiking and seeking out thrilling adventures!
