Put on a cap and a sweater and watch the International Space Station(ISS) pass over the beautiful islands of Sanibel and Captiva on Saturday, December 9 at 6:32 PM. I’ve been watching it for years and it is easy to spot because it is the 3rd brightest object in the sky. Plus it moves fast! You will not mistake it for an airplane! It’s quite amazing to watch it zoom overhead. ISS will be visible for 7 minutes. Height in the sky is 55 degrees and it will appear in the NW and disappear in the SSE. Aren’t we lucky? We can look down and count seashells. Then we can look up and count the stars as we watch the International Space Station fly over Sanibel and Captiva. “Still Paradise” indeed!
