Tina loves islands! Afterall, she was born in Hawaii so it comes naturally to her. She did spend some of her early years “up north”, attending school in Chicago where she worked as a Court Reporter. But Tina has resided in Southwest Florida since 1984, making her a Florida native by some definitions!
For over 30 years, Tina has been a Certified Court Reporter, both nationally as well as in the State of Florida. She owned and operated a very successful court reporting agency (DiCharia & Associates Court Reporting, Inc.) for over 20 years. With this training and experience, Tina’s attention to detail is unmatched!
Tina has always been actively engaged in community activities, both social and professional. She has served on the Board of Directors for P.O.L.O. Club of Lee County, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and the YMCA. Currently, Tina is on the United Way Allocations Team and is the Treasurer of the Sanibel and Captiva Islands Association of Realtors (SCIAR).
Tina is married to Gus Simmons, Esq., son of Sanibel realtor Glen Simmons who is Tina’s real estate partner. They have one daughter who attends the University of Missouri School of Journalism and is their pride and joy!
