The paths on Sanibel Island are to be shared. They are there to enjoy nature and to get from point A to Point B for all those that choose not to drive. All users of the paths are a potential source and subject for danger. So, let’s all know what is going on by using your Whistles, Horns, Eyes and Ears. We need to put the ear buds away so you can hear what is coming and going. Don’t forget if you are walking and texting you are not going to see that potential danger. It is against the law in Florida if you are a cyclists to use any headsets, headphones or any other listening devises while in operation. You may have the right of way but it doesn’t mean you can always be seen right away. Stay Healthy.
