Galloway’s Seventh annual Captiva Triathlon takes place at South Seas Island Resort September 9th-10th. The adult triathlon will be on Sunday morning and the participants will be completing a quarter mile swim, a 10-mile bike ride, and a 5k run. During this race, they will be closing Captiva Drive from 6:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. There will also be a kid Triathlon on Saturday morning for ages 6-8, 9-10, and 11-13. They will also have to c0mplete a swim, bike ride, and run but theirs will not be timed.
