In his case, almost 50 years ago when he visited his grandparents who lived on Sanibel. One trip from Connecticut and they were hooked, figuratively and literally. It took a while to get here, as Wexler’s career first took him to New York and Washington, DC, where he worked in finance and government. His Degree in Economics from Boston College was put to good use there. Finally, In 2005, Dan, his wife, network executive Arlene Dillon, and his two daughters made Sanibel their permanent home.
