On January 15, the Sanibel and Captiva Islands Association of Realtors (SCIAR) installed VIP Sanibel and Captiva REALTOR, Janka Varmuza, for a 3-year term as General Director of the Board. Congratulations, Janka! This has been a very busy and productive year for Janka. Not only is Janka on the Board, she also serves on SCIAR Communication & PR Committee as well as the Professional Development Committee. Last March, she was inducted into the VIP Realty Sanibel and Captiva Executive Club, recognizing her successful career as a VIP REALTOR. Janka continues to be praised by her clients, receiving unanimous 5-star reviews. In a recent VIP Opinion Survey, her client applauded her efforts noting she was “wonderful, professional, knowledgeable.”
Janka and her family have been living on Sanibel for 20 years. She and her husband discovered the island while traveling across the country and instantly fell in love with it. Within a week, they were Sanibel homeowners!
Janka was born and raised in the former Czechoslovakia. She graduated from Economics University with a B.S. in Human Resources (HR) & Economics plus a Master of Business Administration degree. She worked for several U.S. multinational corporations as a Senior HR Manager, encompassing three European countries, and as European Operations Manager, specializing in management consulting. It is Janka’s exceptional experience, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, complex projects that has made her such a successful REALTOR an active member of the community.
