Hurray! The 4th of July Parade will be held on Sanibel this year! That means it’s time to stop at the Bank of the Islands, 1699 Periwinkle Way, to buy your 2024 celebration T-shirt. The Bank is closed on Thursday so make sure you stop early this week. While you are there, you can pick up one of these “I Love Sanibel” bumper stickers. I temporarily displayed it on the beautiful artwork featured in our VIP Conference Room. The bumper sticker is very cute, but I like the reverse side even better. There are very interesting factoids described there, such as “Sanibel Island is over 5,000 years old except for the eastern tip which is only 1,000 years old”! Pickup your T-shirt and bumper sticker this week so you will look smart and sound smart at all the holiday events this Thursday!
