The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) will be hosting a welcome back Wines in the Wild 8th Season. These are Environmentally sound wines from all around the world. This year season’s theme is Sustainable Safari .
Some people considered it one of the most fun events on the island. Sort of a Welcome back to our residents who go back and forth to the northern states . A chance to mingle with old friends and business owners and a chance to meet new friends.
Wine connoisseur Tom Uhler handpicks unique wines that entice the palate . An assortment of canapés along with three red and three white wines will be available for imbibing. Both live and silent auctions will be available .
Bank of the Islands is once again returning as the presenting sponsor for this year 2015 Wines in the Wild.
SCCF Executive Director Erick Lindblad is dedicated to the conservation of nature’s habitats and aquatic resources here on our Islands. Continued education about our surrounding watershed, land acquisitions, landscaping for wildlife, marine research, natural resource policies, sea turtle conservation and wildlife habitat management. Along with community help from Tom and Linda Uhler and Geoff and Robbie Roepstorff and Community support through membership dues and tax-deductible contributions along with grants and staff-generated revenue makes all this possible.
